2006 Sion Bid Pin2006 Sion Host Bid City Pin W/ Mistake colored rings
Flat stamped enameled with gold edging made for the 2006 bid to host Sion,Switzerland Olympic games. The pin says Sion 2006 in thick black writing. They also made a variation of this pin with thin lettering. It has a white mountain against a red background with red Olympic icons against a white background. Below Sion 2006 it says Switzerland candidate. Below that are the Olympic rings but this is an error pin as they have the green and yellow rings switched in position. The back is shinny gold saying GM PROMOTION AG - next line - SWITZERLAND AND - next line - 0041 62 205 15 35 - next line - copyright logo 1997.
